HASSOCKS Res win Reserve Section Cup

Hassocks Res duly completed the Reserve League & Cup 'double' with an exciting 4-3 win over Eastbourne United in the Final at a rain swept Caburn Ground.

PEACEHAVEN win John O'Hara Cup

Peacehaven duly completed the League and Cup 'Double' by defeating Division Two Champions Littlehampton 1-0 at Culver Road on Friday evening.

In truth the result was far more convincing than the scoreline suggests, and against opponents who finished the game with only nine men.

Joe Dryer scoring the only goal mid-way through the first half.

HASSOCKS RES Champions Reserve Premier

Congralations to Hassocks Res who are eventually confirmed Champions of Reserve Prem after rivals Eastbourne United fell short in their quest to overturn a 10 goal deficit in the goal difference stakes!

For good measure Hassocks added the Mid Sussex FA Senior Charity Cup by defeating Ifield 5-3 in extra time.

HAILSHAM TOWN

The League Tables are now complete since Hailsham Town have pleaded guilty to the formal charge of failing to fulfil the fixture at Redhill on bank holiday Monday - and consequently the three points are awarded to Redhill FC

SHOREHAM RES

Congratulations also now to Shoreham FC who are now assured of the Reserve East Championship following nearest rivals Peacehaven losing at Haywards Heath on bank holiday Monday.

PEACEHAVEN CHAMPIONS

Congratulations to Peacehaven & Telscombe FC,  SCFL Champions following their 0-0 draw at Horsham YMCA. REDHILL meanwhile ensured they will finish as runners-up following a 2-0 win at East Preston.

SIDLESHAM FC Division Three Champions

Congratulations also to Sidlesham, who have clinched the Div 3 Championship, following their 3-1 win at TD Shipley, and nearest rivals Haywards Heath being held to a 1-1 draw by Barnham.

LITTLEHAMPTON CHAMPIONS

Congratulations to Littlehampton who have clinched the Division 2 Championship following their 1-0 win over 2nd placed Newhaven.

HAYWARDS HEATH win Sussex Intermediate Cup

Haywards Heath Town clinched a Cup Double by adding the Sussex FA's Intermediate Cup to the Division Three Cup, by defeating Hassocks Reserves 2-1 at Culver Road thanks to a winner four minutes from the end of extra time.
