FA Carlsberg Vase -

Three Bridges bow out on penalties after 2-2 draw at the Jubilee Field

     

   

UPDATE...21st JANUARY

THREE BRIDGES must replay their FA Vase tie next saturday at the Jubilee Field, after holding Gresley to a 1-1 draw in Derbyshire. An early lead through a Tim Rivers goal was cancelled out on the hour - and the sides must now start all over again to battle for a place in the last 16.

Meanwhile RYE UNITED maintained their place at the top of Division One thanks to a late winner from Jon Richardson at Redhill. LANCING stay second following their comfortable 3-0 win at Sidley UnitedPAGHAM are third  as a 4-3 win at Lingfield maintained their challenge.

EAST PRESTON moved an incredible 17 points clear in Division Two, as they won 2-1 at Eastbourne United, and are now just five points away from clinching promotion.

HAILSHAM stay second, although they needed an 86th minute equaliser to get anything from their trip to Oakwood (2-2).

DORKING WANDERERS imprived their third place with a 3-1 win over Southwick.

PEASE POTTAGE say top of Division Three with a 4-1 win at Ifield, as NEWHAVEN were surpisingly beaten again, this time 1-0 at Fort Road by Bosham. SALTDEAN with a thumping 6-1 win over Ferring are well palced in 3rd with games in hand on those above them.
