Bexhill United got into an early lead with a goal by Jack Shonk in their home game against Division One team Montpelier Villa. Later the lead was doubled with a goal by Tom Vickers and then just before halftime, Jack Shonk scored his second goal to give the "Pirates" a good lead at halftime. Surprisingly the second half was goalless considering all the chances but the final touch seemed to have gone missing.
